The Bayou Vermilion District Board of Commissioners is made up of nine individual volunteers who receive a formal appointment by either the Lafayette Consolidated Government Parish President, Council President, and Mayors from within Lafayette Parish. Board meetings are held at Vermilionville located at 300 Fisher Rd. on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m.

Standards For Open Meeting Filming
1. Only one (1) stationary camera allowed in Vermilionville Board Room.
2. No extra lighting can be used.
3. Microphones allowed on camera only.
